Quinta do Mondego
The history of Quinta do Mondego began in 1994, when the Fontes da Cunha family acquired the estate with the aim of creating a place for leisure and gatherings. What started as a family project quickly evolved into a true passion for wine.
In 2003, the first MUNDA Red was created, made from Touriga Nacional, marking the beginning of a Dão wine brand that has gained recognition over the years.
Today, with around 70 hectares in Nelas, the vineyards of Quinta do Mondego stretch along the banks of the Mondego River, giving rise to elegant, fresh wines with a unique character. 🍷
White wine 100% Encruzado from the 2024 harvest, produced at Quinta do Mondego in the heart of the Dão region. With a bright citrus colour, it reveals delicate aromas of white fruit, lime and floral notes with a light mineral touch. On the palate it is fresh, elegant and well balanced, with excellent acidity, expressing the purity and complexity of the Encruzado grape. Ideal to pair with seafood, grilled fish, sushi or vegetarian dishes.
