LILIPOP red wine

Lilipop red  is the most charismatic wine at Quinta de Tourais. We begin by listing some varieties that are no longer very common in the Douro, such as Baga, Jean, Bastardo, Touriga, Brasileira, Tinta Francisca, Alicante Bouschet, Tinta Roriz, among others.
This wine presents itself, fresh and light, with only 13% alcohol, without any acidity correction. It was harvested in August for ideal Ph. It has a great structure, but is a little different from the traditional Douro wines.

We consider this wine to be very elegant, with still vegetable notes, red fruit, black fruit and a lot of spice. It has some woodsy and mushroom notes. Full elegant mouth with a persistent finish.

It has 10 months in used French oak barrels.
It is produced with some of our favorite varieties. Not being at all consensual, it has an incredible freshness and an ability to evolve in a long bottle. Goes well with any meat in general and wild mushrooms!
